About the position

As a Product Copywriter at Klein Tools, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and the marketing team to create engaging and benefit-driven content that reflects the company's consumer-focused design approach. Your role involves conducting market research, translating technical features into persuasive copy, and optimizing content for SEO to enhance visibility and traffic. You will maintain brand voice consistency across various channels while continuously improving product messaging based on customer feedback and performance analytics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketing team to create engaging product content.
• Conduct market research to understand target audiences and competitive landscape.
• Write and edit product descriptions, packaging copy, and other related content.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across all product messaging by sourcing data from multiple stakeholders.
• Optimize product copy for SEO to drive organic traffic while maintaining readability.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Monitor product copy performance through customer feedback and analytics, making necessary improvements.
• Liaise with language translation vendors for product launch assets.
• Create and curate a database of copy style guides and product vocabulary.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate work.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently under guidelines.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smart Sheet).
• Experience working within a Content Management System (CMS).
