As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in leading design, interaction, and user experience efforts across our applications, including MyAdmin, MyGeotab, and Geotab Drive. This position requires collaboration with product and engineering teams to research, build, iterate, and enhance the design and experience for end users. You will be responsible for spearheading design initiatives, conducting user research, and creating wireframes and prototypes that align with user needs and business goals. In this role, you will lead the design process from ideation to execution, mapping user flows and conducting usability testing to ensure a seamless user experience. You will also support coding activities and maintain compliance with accessibility guidelines. Your work will directly impact the development of products that deliver on Geotab's vision and strategy, making it essential to have a deep understanding of user behaviors and design principles. Responsibilities

• Lead research, ideation, and creation of application interactions.
• Partner with UX Research, Product Management, Development, and Data Science teams during design and development.
• Map out user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for user testing, feedback, and deployment.
• Conduct interviews and collect feedback from end users and subject matter experts.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll-out products that deliver on the Geotab vision and strategy.
• Use Design Principles and existing visual frameworks to produce cohesive designs.
• Design web applications using industry best practices and existing visual frameworks.
• Support Geotab global strategic initiatives and track design features and fixes.
• Maintain compliance with AODA guidelines for site accessibility.
• Support the team with coding activities when needed (e.g., JavaScript, React).
• Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback.
• Create personas through user research and data.
• Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
• Ensure designs, code, and animations work in different browsers on different devices.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience in an individual contributor role on a product, experience, or service design team.
• Deep knowledge of product design, including common interaction patterns and best practices for responsive web applications.
• Experience collaborating closely with product management, engineering, and research.
• Proficiency in UI design and using tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Principle, etc.
• Ability to lead all aspects of the user-centered design process from conception to completion.
• Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
