Our approach integrates design deeply into the product team, allowing designers to take ownership of projects and manage resources effectively. This role is pivotal in creating a hiring process that enhances candidate experience and streamlines recruiter tasks. You will be part of a team that values design as a collective responsibility, not just a function of a designated department.

Responsibilities

• Consult for engineers on layout, typography, and flows.
• Engage with go-to-market teams and customers to gather insights and data for design proposals.
• Utilize Figma to create visual artifacts for stakeholder alignment.
• Write detailed specification documents to align stakeholders on design decisions.
• Take ownership of larger product features, considering Jobs-To-Be-Done, navigation, and information architecture.
• Consolidate and refine the design system to ensure it is functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product design experience in desktop SaaS.
• Ability to think from first principles rather than relying solely on standard UX processes.
• Experience in breaking down complex user problems through effective questioning.
• Strong intuition for solving usability problems without always needing data or user research.
• Curiosity and resourcefulness in developing creative solutions.
• Strong skills in layout, navigation, information architecture, UI, and interaction design.
• Strong visual design skills with a focus on craft and detail.
