About The Position

The Product Engineering Manager at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor is responsible for overseeing the development and release of new IGBT platforms. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely product development and managing the entire product lifecycle from planning to qualification.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related engineering fields.
• Understanding of semiconductor device physics, statistical analysis, failure analysis, and basic circuit analysis.
• 8+ years in semiconductor device fabrication and assembly process is a plus.
• Strong quality mindset and experience in APQP procedures.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Strong data analysis skills, with experience in statistical data analysis tools such as DataPower, eXensio, JMP, or Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Make product development plan with inputs from marketing and R&D, monitor the outcome, and seek alignment throughout the product development cycle.
• Proactively drive projects to meet target timelines.
• Maintain product checklist and coordinate phase gate reviews.
• Make product qualification plan, monitor, and report the results.
• Coordinate engineering builds and evaluations, analyze and interpret test results.
• Participate in failure analysis and problem-solving activities.
• Support customer inquiries regarding datasheets or special characterizations occasionally.
• Support product quality incidents and coordinate engineering analysis occasionally.
