About The Position

The Product Growth Strategist for Authentication and Identity Security at Cisco is responsible for driving the market success of security products through strategic external-facing activities. This role involves developing go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling product messaging, enabling sales teams, conducting market research, and influencing partners to ensure product visibility and adoption. The strategist will collaborate closely with various teams to align product positioning with customer needs and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise/B2B tech with 3 years of product management experience, including 3 in cybersecurity.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related fields.
  • Experience translating technical requirements into content for various audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Go-to-Market Strategy for new and existing products, including identifying target markets, messaging, and positioning.
  • Craft compelling and consistent product positioning and messaging that aligns with the overall product strategy.
  • Develop content for collateral, product training, and resources for sales teams and partners.
  • Engage directly with sales and customers to understand changing needs and attend industry events as a subject matter expert.
  • Continuously analyze the market and customer feedback to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to ensure successful product positioning.
  • Use excellent communication skills to influence partners and executives, making data-driven product and marketing recommendations.
  • Define and monitor metrics to assess go-to-market success.
