About the position

As a Product Inventory Analyst for Disney Cruise Line, you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory strategies to enhance guest experiences and facilitate successful product rollouts. This position involves analyzing performance data, managing guest inquiries, and implementing process improvements across shoreside and shipboard operations. You will collaborate with various teams to identify system enhancements and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades, directly impacting guest satisfaction and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage deep knowledge of Disney Cruise Line offerings to provide operational support and share insights.
  • Independently manage complex projects and departmental responsibilities with minimal oversight.
  • Oversee the configuration of Seaware packages, pricing structures, and inventory setup for timely website launches.
  • Advise collaboration partners on effective system usage, utilizing JIRA for product tracking.
  • Support initiatives across various business areas, including onboard dining, merchandise, and logistics partners.
  • Identify efficiencies and drive creative solutions to business needs while adhering to company policies.
  • Apply in-depth policy and system knowledge to make informed decisions and communicate updates across all levels.
  • Adapt to evolving priorities and support shoreside product development and shipboard operations.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with revenue management, sales, marketing, and communications teams to align strategies.
  • Leverage yield management and analytical skills to support cruise product strategies.
  • Forecast inventory needs based on business trends and communicate plans to fleet leaders.
  • Manage product modifications, cancellations, and updates for onboard activities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in system data management, project management, or operations.
  • Expertise in revenue optimization and guest experience enhancement in sectors like merchandise or entertainment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of yield management and analytics, with experience using Business Objects or MicroStrategy.
  • Demonstrated expertise in driving critical initiatives and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Skilled at prioritizing tasks and managing sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Smartsheet, SharePoint, and JIRA.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the cruise and travel industry, specifically Disney Cruise Line.
  • Familiarity with Disney Cruise Vacations Internet and Intranet sites.
  • Proficiency with DCL core systems (Seaware, SilverWhere, Business Objects, MicroStrategy).
  • Advanced experience with JIRA for product and issue tracking.
