About the position

The Data Product Owner / Business Analyst role focuses on leading and managing migration projects to AWS platforms. This position is responsible for defining the product vision, aligning it with business priorities, and ensuring successful project execution through effective stakeholder engagement and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the product vision, goals, and roadmap for migration projects and AWS-based services.
• Align the product roadmap with business priorities and customer needs.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communication.
• Lead and manage end-to-end migration projects, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions from legacy systems to AWS platforms.
• Leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) to architect and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
• Stay updated on AWS offerings to incorporate the latest features and capabilities into products.
• Develop, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with sprint goals and team capacity.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of migration initiatives and cloud implementations.
• Continuously assess and improve product performance and user satisfaction.
• Identify potential risks in migration and AWS deployment projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a focus on cloud migration and AWS solutions.
• Hands-on experience in leading large-scale migration projects and cloud architecture design.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, architecture, and best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
