About the position

As a Product Owner I at Net Health, you will play a pivotal role in leading the billing team to develop the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) functionality for our specialized Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and analytics technology. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about healthcare technology and are eager to contribute to meaningful projects that enhance patient care. You will be responsible for scheduling and leading meetings to surface issues, identify fixes, and advance projects, ensuring that the team remains aligned with the overall product strategy and goals. In this role, you will manage daily project goals and product schedules, adjusting expectations and setting priorities as necessary. You will collaborate closely with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to create and customize products that meet user needs. A key aspect of your responsibilities will involve writing and capturing user stories and user needs to effectively communicate product objectives and requirements to the development team. Your responsibilities will include generating stories and acceptance criteria that form the feature backlog, conducting story refinement and grooming sessions with development and QA teams to ensure a consistent understanding of requirements, and gathering estimates. You will define the value of product deliverables and communicate this to the team in a way that inspires innovative thinking. Additionally, you will order the items in the backlog to best achieve goals and missions as prioritized by the Product Manager. You will lead multi-day design sprints to identify potential challenges and opportunities in the market and customer landscape. Accepting or rejecting delivered work within each Sprint will also be part of your duties, along with communicating portfolio and project updates to managers and stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with peer Product Owners to manage cross-team dependencies and appropriately schedule and prioritize dependent work. Active participation in daily scrum meetings, project status meetings, and sprint planning for at least one team will be expected, as will continuously prioritizing incoming business and customer requests for release planning. Developing product expertise for both internal and external stakeholders is crucial, as is understanding the target market and user base to contribute to informed product decisions. You will also recommend additional products and capabilities to enhance and expand the product line to meet strategic business objectives, and triage and work with development teams to resolve product issues as they arise.
