About the position

The Product Manager plays a critical role in executing the vision and definition of the product. As the voice of the client, they provide guidance to concentrate the agile crew's effort on correct priorities based on business value. This position is essential for ensuring that the product aligns with client requirements and meets business objectives. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining and conveying the product vision to the team(s), ensuring that all efforts are directed towards achieving the desired outcomes. They will serve as the primary point of contact for any questions from the agile crew, facilitating clear communication and understanding of the product goals. In addition to vision definition and communication, the Product Manager will manage the product backlog, ensuring its integrity and prioritization. They will work closely with the Scrum Master to ensure that the team is focused on the right items in accordance with the product backlog. The role also involves product validation and delivery, where the Product Manager will accept the delivery of working products from the agile crew, review and validate the outcomes, and communicate the business value and results of the sprint iterations to various stakeholders. The Product Manager will lead sprint demos to showcase the crew's development progress and will be responsible for incorporating valuable feedback from stakeholders into the product development process. They will conduct Program Increment (PI) or quarterly planning sessions to ensure that the agile crew commits to realistic deliverables, effectively prioritizing tasks to execute on the product vision and realize business value.

Responsibilities

  • Define and convey the product vision to the team(s) to address client requirements and meet business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for questions from the crew.
  • Accountable for the creation and integrity of the product backlog.
  • Prioritize and lead grooming of the product backlog.
  • Work in partnership with the Scrum Master to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog.
  • Accept delivery of working product from the agile crew.
  • Review and validate the agile crew's working product.
  • Socialize the delivery of business value and outcomes of the sprint iteration to various stakeholders.
  • Lead sprint demos to showcase the crew's development progress.
  • Incorporate valuable feedback from stakeholders.
  • Conduct PI (Program Increment) or quarterly planning to ensure the agile crew commits to realistic deliverables.
  • Prioritize effectively to execute on the product vision and realize business value.

Requirements

  • Experience in Credit or Debit Cards (Required): Familiarity with credit and debit card processing.
  • Knowledge of card transformation, specifically related to the core processing engine.
  • Experience working with near real-time streaming data.
  • Proficiency in cloud technology.
  • Building APIs for credit card processing.
  • Familiarity with middleware, systems, and platforms related to credit card processing.
