In this role, you will be part of a highly motivated and well-established SCRUM team within our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Software Business Unit. Here, we build enterprise software solutions for the scientific and analytical industry, specifically designed to operate LC/IC/GC and MS instruments, evaluate data, and generate results. Your primary responsibilities will include defining features for compliance and data processing functionality. You will collaborate closely with product management and peers in our diverse global Product Owner team to fully understand the product vision and customer requirements. This role requires you to engage with product management, customers, and partners to vet your ideas on how your features can create a differentiated customer experience. You will manage the team's backlog, write up features and user stories, and work with your SCRUM team to refine and estimate these features and stories. In addition, you will focus on delivering customer value in every sprint, present progress during sprint reviews, and collect feedback from the audience. As the primary contact and expert for your team's work across the wider organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our software solutions meet the highest standards and effectively address the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product management and peers in the global Product Owner team to understand product vision and customer requirements.
  • Engage with product management, customers, and partners to vet ideas for features that enhance customer experience.
  • Manage the team's backlog and write up features and user stories.
  • Collaborate with the SCRUM team to refine and estimate features and stories.
  • Focus on delivering customer value in every sprint with the SCRUM team.
  • Present progress during sprint reviews and collect feedback from the audience.
  • Serve as the primary contact and expert for the team's work across the wider organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Confirmed product owner experience.
  • Meaningful experience with sophisticated projects.
  • Proven experience working in a multi-national company.
  • Confirmed experience with chromatography or mass spectrometry software, or enterprise software, ideally based on cloud technology and Kubernetes in a scientific environment.
  • English proficiency in spoken and written language.
  • Understanding of distributed software, ideally in scientific environments.
  • Basic understanding of regulations such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, 21 CFR part 11 and Gamp5 would be an asset.
