We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner to lead the development and integration of a patient portal across a well-established client's expanding network. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless user experience, driving digital transformation, and aligning the portal's functionalities with organizational goals. The Product Owner will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive product roadmap for the patient portal that aligns with the merger's integration strategy and organizational objectives. This includes collaborating with key stakeholders to define product vision, goals, and success metrics, as well as engaging with internal stakeholders, including clinicians, IT professionals, and administrative staff, to gather requirements and feedback. As the primary liaison between the business units and the development team, the Product Owner will ensure clear communication and alignment of priorities. They will oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of the patient portal, from conceptualization to deployment and ongoing support, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of portal enhancements and integrations. Advocating for the needs and perspectives of patients and providers in portal development is crucial, as is conducting stakeholder interviews and working with CX/UX teams to inform product design and enhancements. The Product Owner will work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of the patient portal with existing electronic health records (EHR) and other digital health platforms, addressing data interoperability challenges and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Establishing and monitoring KPIs to measure the success and impact of portal implementations, continuously identifying opportunities for product improvement and innovation, and developing and implementing change management plans to facilitate portal adoption across the network are also key responsibilities. Additionally, coordinating training programs for end-users to maximize the utilization and benefits of portal features is essential.
