About the position

The Product Owner at Plateau GRP will play a crucial role in managing product ownership for multiple agile teams. This position requires strong experience in agile methodologies and involves defining user stories, prioritizing the team backlog, and ensuring that the development teams deliver maximum value to government customers. The Product Owner will act as a key stakeholder in product management events and will communicate requirements effectively to the development team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and refine product feature backlog
• Lead user story development and definition of acceptance criteria
• Prioritize functionality into sprints and coordinate management of expectations
• Support program level functional roadmap development
• Provide functional needs and depth of understanding to the team during sprint planning
• Support system demos
• Help identify and manage internal and external dependencies
• Coordinate efforts across the program and work dependencies with the greater team
• Support Product Team scrum meetings

Requirements

• Previous working experience as a product owner
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Strong knowledge of Jira and Atlassian tools
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI is required
