About the position

The Product Owner is responsible for defining the vision of the product and ensuring that it aligns with client needs and business goals. This role involves collaborating with clients and users to gather requirements, creating a product roadmap, managing the product backlog, and overseeing the product development process. The Product Owner will also monitor progress, participate in Scrum meetings, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients/users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Define the vision for the team's product and maintain a cohesive vision throughout the process.
• Create a product roadmap based on the defined vision.
• Manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks based on changing requirements.
• Oversee all stages of product creation, including design and development.
• Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process.
• Work with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and sprints.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory.
• Experience in product management and backlog management.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Apache/Confluent Kafka is preferred.
• Exposure to AWS or any cloud platform is beneficial.
