About the position

The Product Supply Analyst is responsible for managing the flow of non-perishable materials through Darden's distribution system. This role involves coordinating with various supply chain partners, analyzing inventory levels, and ensuring timely supply to restaurants while optimizing costs and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal teams to ensure continuous supply to restaurants.
  • Analyze forecasts and maintain safety stock levels with input from various stakeholders.
  • Work with suppliers to confirm production requirements for finished goods.
  • Schedule inbound receipts considering warehouse capacity and labor constraints.
  • Provide cost-effective transportation solutions to meet business needs.
  • Challenge distribution partner policies to ensure successful performance.
  • Partner with Demand Planning to minimize obsolete inventory exposure.
  • Manage product allocations and consult with concepts and vendors.
  • Utilize data to optimize material flow through distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with purchasing teams to leverage warehouse capacity for non-traditional goods.
  • Communicate effectively with the distribution center team to align with restaurant needs.
  • Negotiate logistics and transportation expenses with third parties.
  • Develop relationships with purchasing teams to identify opportunities and provide solutions.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and capture eligible discounts with the Accounting team.
  • Oversee issue resolution with concepts, vendors, and warehouse teams.
  • Serve as the Oracle MRP System Administrator, managing item maintenance and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years in supply planning, replenishment, or distribution environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Advanced user of Excel and experience with databases including Business Intelligence or Access.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve in inventory management, logistics, and vendor relationships.
