About The Position

The Product Support Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining building technology, including networks, software, and hardware modifications. This position involves troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues, as well as supporting the eCademy virtual school. The technician is expected to provide high levels of customer service and work collaboratively with staff and students.

Requirements

  • One year of college/technical school equivalent (preferred).
  • A+ Certification Certificate or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • One year of previous experience preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate activities.
  • Ability to follow directions and work as a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, workstation hardware, classroom technology, and software problems.
  • Perform maintenance on printers, hard drives, and other computer components.
  • Assist staff with special technology projects throughout the school term.
  • Work collaboratively with other technology staff to solve problems and create technology opportunities.
  • Attend technology training as appropriate.
  • Resolve hardware and software difficulties for staff.
  • Complete other duties as assigned that align with the position's requirements.
