About The Position

Prysmian Group is seeking new talent at our manufacturing plant in Lincoln, RI! The Machine Operator is responsible for completing their job duties in a safe and timely manner both for themselves and their co-workers while using proper PPE and a Safety First attitude. The incumbent is responsible for producing a quality product, meeting all specifications of the Work Order, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to our Right the First time Quality Policy. Associates are required to input information into the Machine Center computer and verify for accuracy. The Production Associate will be expected to complete job tasks within a specified time period, which includes setups, changeovers, reel changes, and material relocation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous manufacturing experience, strongly preferred
• Able to read, write and understand English
• Proficient in basic math and computer knowledge
• Strong team player

Responsibilities

• Complete job duties in a safe and timely manner using proper PPE.
• Produce a quality product that meets all specifications of the Work Order.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and adhere to the Right the First time Quality Policy.
