About the position

The Production Specialist at LGG Industrial is responsible for various manufacturing and distribution tasks, including assembling products, picking items from the warehouse, and ensuring quality standards are met. This role emphasizes safety and efficiency in operations, contributing to the overall success of the company by maintaining high standards in product handling and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
  • Assemble products to company, customer, and manufacturer's standards.
  • Perform all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction.
  • Receive incoming shipments into inventory, post in online system, and place items in warehouse.
  • Pick product in warehouse and prepare items for delivery or shipping.
  • Deliver product as required.
  • Operate mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts, and picking lifts (if applicable).
  • Assist with physical inventory.
  • Make recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • 3-5 years of related warehousing or production experience.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Ability to work overtime, as required.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, as required.
  • Ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs independently on a repeated basis.
  • Ability to consistently move throughout the facility during the full workday.
  • Ability to comprehend work instruction and safety procedures, written or verbally.
  • Ability to count and measure accurately.
  • Ability to properly and safely use mechanical equipment and hand tools.
