About the position

The position involves reviewing, coordinating, and expediting repair parts within the standard flow of production while ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and constant customer awareness throughout the process. This is achieved through effective communication via phone, email, and fax to update expectations on revised delivery dates. The role requires a proactive approach to manage communication processes and ensure customer satisfaction by exploring all available resources.

Responsibilities

  • Expedite and communicate expected delivery dates for various production statuses including Awaiting Assignment, Dispatched to Technician, Being Repaired, Awaiting Parts, Parts Research, Parts Ordered, QA Further Evaluation, and BER Evaluation.
  • Enhance and manage the communication process to ensure customers receive all available options through purchasing, sales, and engineering.
  • Manage follow-up processes to ensure customer satisfaction with the resources utilized.
  • Assist in data research and fact-finding for technician monthly performance reviews and metric schedule requirements.
  • Assist Repair Production Team Leaders and Technicians with inventory management related to production processes.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • General knowledge of Windows-based software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with constant interaction among staff.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical or Industrial product knowledge.
