Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Count and load gas cylinders
- Inspect cylinders for damage or defects
- Connect and fill cylinders according to specific guidelines
- Test cylinders for leaks and maintain accurate records
- Operate and maintain pumping equipment
- Maintain cylinder condition and identify cylinders needing repair
- Ensure plant appearance is clean and organized
- Use a forklift or hand truck as needed
- Inspect valves and receive goods
- Perform basic math calculations
- Complete assigned duties as required.
Requirements
- High school degree/GED required
- Safely operate forklift and handle 40-70 lbs.
- Preferred experience in plant/manufacturing or gas cylinder maintenance
- Basic computer skills and ability to be flexible
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Work outdoors, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motion.
