About the position

The Program Aide position at the Esperanza Crisis Center involves providing essential support for daily operations, assisting with client transportation, and offering administrative help to the program's leadership. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the crisis care services provided to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide facility support for the program's daily operations.
• Complete errands such as grocery shopping and program purchases in accordance with program procedures.
• Assist with menu development for client meals.
• Assist with client transportation.
• Maintain close contact with the Clinical Team.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to the Program Director, Assistant Director, and other staff members as requested.
• Assist with special projects as designated by the Program Director, Assistant Program Director, and other staff members as requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required and must be kept current during employment.
• Experience with mental health services preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A valid California driver's license in good standing and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required.

Nice-to-haves
