About the position

The Program Analyst II at Essendant plays a crucial role in leading vendor onboarding activities and coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure program benefits are achieved. This position involves monitoring programs, identifying risks, and creating mitigation plans to resolve issues. The analyst will also manage program communications, facilitate meetings, and lead user acceptance testing, ensuring that all project documentation is maintained and organized effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead vendor onboarding activities
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure program benefits are achieved
  • Monitor program, identify risks, and create associated mitigation plans to drive issue resolution
  • Create and manage program communication and status reporting
  • Create, maintain, and manage relevant project documents including business case, project charter, scope statement, project plan, communication plan, risk management plan, etc.
  • Facilitate program and project meetings
  • Lead user acceptance testing including test plans, use cases, scripts, execution, and issue resolution
  • Support item management activities and work directly with supplier to onboard non-stock item adds

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in Merchandising
  • Excellent communication and business writing skills
  • Ability to determine the appropriate amount of detail gained in research to present findings accurately and concisely
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to sustain strong internal partner relationships
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet, and exceed deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Drive to produce accurate results and accountability for assigned projects
  • Ability to learn new software applications and understand basic IT documents for workflows, data concepts, and project requirement timelines
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Power Point, Outlook, Word, Excel
