About The Position

The Program Director at ManTech is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Statement of Work (SOW) related to enterprise-level desktop services IT projects. This role ensures that all program activities are completed within the established budget and schedule while maintaining high standards of performance and customer satisfaction. The Program Director will lead a team, coordinate with various stakeholders, and implement processes to meet operational and security requirements effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
  • 10+ years of experience as a program manager.
  • At least 5 years of recent and relevant experience as a Program Manager for a large (>150 FTE), complex IT program within the intelligence community.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with customers at all levels.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Other advanced degrees and certifications are desired, such as ITILv4, PgMP, Agile Certified Practitioner.
  • Experience within the NRO and mission partners.
  • Experience with desktop services.
  • Experience supporting business development and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management for enterprise-level desktop services IT projects in multiple operational and security domains.
  • Responsible for the successful planning, cost, schedule, and technical execution performance of the contract.
  • Ensure tasks are completed within mission constraints and that tasking guidance from the customer is clear and unambiguous.
  • Consult and coordinate with the customer and the appropriate Task Manager for problem resolution, task scheduling, resource requirements, training needs, and task clarification.
  • Establish and implement streamlined processes and procedures to rapidly respond to surge requirements.
  • Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess desktop computing needs and system requirements.
  • Direct daily operations by analyzing workflows, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.
  • Review and approve all Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and projects prior to their implementation.
  • Analyze computer and information needs from an operational and strategic perspective and determine immediate and long-range personnel and equipment requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and project documentation repository throughout all project phases.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
