About the position

As a Program Director at Compass Career Solutions, you will play a key role in shaping the future of employment and supportive housing programs. You will lead a team dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome barriers to employment and housing, making a meaningful impact in the community. Your leadership will ensure that programs are developed, implemented, and operated at the highest level, while also mentoring and building partnerships to drive community impact.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and train staff to maintain program excellence.
  • Maintain an accurate record of client services and other required processes.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts and regulations related to developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance abuse services.
  • Collaborate with staff to drive positive change and ensure flexible, responsive services that meet evolving needs.
  • Participate in meetings with contractors and community partners for updates, plan reviews, and outcomes.
  • Represent Compass Career Solutions at community and networking events.
  • Lead outreach efforts to build partnerships with local employers, landlords, shelters, and community organizations.
  • Directly support clients as needed, ensuring they receive the highest level of service.
  • Promote and market our programs to expand our impact and reach more individuals in need.
  • Track program performance, oversee reporting, and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment, housing, or social services, including case management.
  • Leadership experience – At least two years in a supervisory role.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in social services or a related field OR five years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills – Strong written and verbal abilities.
  • Community-minded – Skilled in networking, relationship-building, and advocacy.
  • Accountability & Independence – Ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative leader.
  • Reliable Transportation – A valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a vehicle are required.
