About the position

As the Program Manager 2, you will lead, plan, direct, and coordinate customer and matrix team activities for designated programs and projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. This includes proposal process, negotiation, project management and customer management for projects less than $100,000,000. You will manage, plan, organize and coordinate matrix organizational functions to achieve customer and company requirements and goals for assigned programs and projects (budget, schedule, quality of deliverables, etc.). You will also manage Risk and Opportunity programs, coordinate customer visits, conduct meetings on behalf of the Program Manager, and manage schedules and deliverables for the Program Management Team. Additionally, you will interact with customers to understand their needs and requirements, grow customer relationships, build company integrity, and continuously improve customer satisfaction. You will use formal project management processes and tools to lead and manage projects and programs, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration or a technical field.
  • Minimum five years of progressively complex experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Project or Program Manager or equivalent.
  • Government Secret Clearance may be required.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Experience in US Government contracting is desirable.
