About the position

The Program Manager for Entrepreneurs at Columbia University will oversee various entrepreneurial initiatives within Columbia Technology Ventures (CTV), focusing on technology transfer and commercialization of academic research. This role involves managing programs that support climate tech startups, facilitating connections between entrepreneurs and industry experts, and seeking additional funding to expand program offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the ClimateTech Expertise Network (CEN) Program and other related initiatives.
  • Facilitate mentoring and executive team building for climate tech startups.
  • Organize investor and corporate connection events for eligible startups.
  • Seek additional funding to expand the scale and scope of the CEN Program.
  • Collaborate with faculty and students to support entrepreneurial activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in program management or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of technology transfer and commercialization processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
