About the position

The position supports the recruitment needs of the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The role involves coordinating recruitment efforts across thirteen sections, serving as a liaison between the division and the newly established faculty recruitment office, and managing logistics for candidate visits.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical recruitment across the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health.
  • Coordinate all recruitment efforts including airfare, hotel, and transportation reservations.
  • Develop itineraries for candidate visits and serve as an escort on the day of the visit.
  • Process expense reports for candidates post-travel.
  • Work with the Budget/Accounting Analyst on process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with Section leaders to identify recruitment needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in recruitment or program management.
  • Intermediate knowledge in program management, financial processes, process improvement, peer leadership, networking, and quality management.

Nice-to-haves
