About the position

The Program Manager II for Infrastructure Portfolio Controls at Google plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the infrastructure capacity needed to support Google's expanding product portfolio. This position is part of the Energy and Location Strategy (ELS) team, specifically within the Cloud and Asset Portfolio Solutions (CAPS) team. The role involves developing governance processes, maintaining data collection tools, and ensuring the quality and consistency of data related to data center acquisitions and asset management. The Program Manager will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

• Develop governance processes, standards, and methodologies for tracking Google's data center portfolio.
• Maintain tooling and workflows for data collection, processing, visualization, and reporting of cost, schedule, and throughput metrics.
• Track completion and measure progress of acquisitions and project development against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Provide excellent communication and respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding technical design and process standards.
• Document lessons learned and implement change management programs to maintain quality and accuracy standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program or project management.
• 2 years of experience in data analytics.
• Experience in a cross-functional role collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
