About the position
The Intelligent Software and Systems (ISS) business unit of RTX BBN Technologies (BBN) seeks a creative, organized, people-centered candidate to fill the role of Program Manager (PM). This role will involve significant interaction with our technical staff on multiple projects, while engaging and mentoring less experienced staff. As a PM, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of software development projects within our organization. You will advise and collaborate with the technical staff on customer interactions and will be responsible for monitoring spending, staffing, contract schedule and deliverables. You will gain knowledge of the technical work and innovative research being performed, while helping the team to stay on task and on budget.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- B.S. degree in a technical field or business management or administration.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as Program Manager, or an advanced degree with 5 years of program management experience.
- Experience managing software development projects, including cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in managing Government-funded contracts.
- Experience with managing subcontractors and consultants.
- Experience as a people leader, organizer, and motivator.
- Experience with financial tracking, including the use of MS Excel.
- Experience coordinating actions across various business functions.
- Expertise in creating and delivering technical documents and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- US citizenship with ability and willingness to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
