About the position

As a Program Manager III, Regulatory Audits at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects focused on regulatory compliance. Your role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to manage programs that address emerging risks related to audits required by regulatory bodies. You will work closely with teams across Alphabet, including Legal, Compliance, and Engineering, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, manage, and facilitate a portfolio of regulatory programs.
  • Manage the design of compliance programs via cross-functional collaboration with product and legal stakeholders.
  • Understand regulations to advise on the design of compliance strategies, conduct current state assessments, analyze capabilities for target solutions, and develop relevant compliance artifacts.
  • Own the life cycle, including development of governance and processes, of regulatory audits conducted by third party external auditors or regulators for Alphabet.
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company regarding the status of new and emerging regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with designing and operationalizing regulatory compliance programs for new and emerging regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in leading initiatives, developing policies or thought leadership in regulated, visibility domains.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
