About the position

The Program Manager III - Technical will support the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) by providing enterprise-wide information technology (IT) services and distribution. This role involves managing complex technical programs, ensuring effective service delivery through a scalable management framework, and integrating IT systems across USSOCOM's global operations and Department of Defense (DoD) boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing complex TECHNICAL programs to include P&L responsibility.
• Manage fixed price contracts.
• Oversee program budget and schedules.
• Responsible for program growth; may be responsible for marketing new technology or follow-on business acquisition.
• Responsible for business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.
• May be responsible for programs of a lesser dollar value if they are more complex or developmental in nature.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in relevant field.
• Eight (8+) years experience managing a technical program.
• PMP or equivalent is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
