The Program Manager, Market Development- Construction is responsible for the planning and execution of construction projects for new centers in emerging and expanding markets. This role involves coordinating with cross functional teams, managing budget, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and overseeing all phases of the construction process from design to operational turnover. The Program Manager, Market Development- Construction will work closely with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamic project requirements. The Program Manager, Market Development- Construction will report to the Senior Director, Market Development.

Requirements

  • Experience managing and leading large-scale retail real estate project build-outs
  • Skilled facilitator with ability to manage internal and external stakeholders ensuring decision-making and timely next steps
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects on time, with ability to anticipate, assess, and mitigate risk
  • Ability to work independently, be result oriented, manage multiple priorities, and frequent change in duties and volume of work

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors' Degree (preferred), or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years healthcare experience (preferred)
  • 3-5 years construction project management experience in healthcare preferred
  • Experience scaling retail brick-and-mortar franchises on a national level, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of planning, design, and construction of our centers, with a core focus on managing the end-to-end construction process
  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners to drive projects to completion in accordance with established timeframes
  • Provide oversight during center setup activities and handoff to Operations
  • Participate in capital expenditure projections and budget tracking
  • Monitor project scope and critical paths, identify potential bottlenecks barriers and work with Senior Director, Market Launches Development to make schedule adjustments
  • Lead weekly project status meetings with key client stakeholders and internal SMEs to update on progress, raise any issues or risks, and discuss proposed mitigation strategies to ensure on-time market launches
  • Assist in exterior signage coordination and other marketing related needs
  • Position may require the employee to travel 75-80% of the time
