About the position

Discord is looking for a Program Manager for our Marketing Operations team. As the Program Manager, you will lead driving priorities across our revenue teams through seamless daily operations and strong stakeholder alignment, with an eye towards scale and efficiency. You will serve as the senior level connection point for the Program Management team between critical business functions such as Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, Legal and Comms teams. Day to day, you will be a strategic partner to our revenue marketing team in the prioritization and cadence of initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with marketing leadership to define the goals, roadmap, and operational model for engaging with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product, and Engineering
  • Building and refining engagement models with cross-functional teams, including GTM and sales enablement, to drive alignment and efficiency
  • Managing projects and timelines to ensure smooth execution and operational efficiency, working closely with PMM and marketing teams
  • Developing and implementing robust frameworks, systems, and processes to integrate marketing programs with broader company initiatives
  • Establishing and strengthening trusted, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, partners, and senior leaders, keeping them informed of progress, opportunities, and shifting priorities
  • Leading and facilitating regular project status and review meetings, ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged at the right time to drive alignment and decision-making

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years experience in program/project management or consultancy within Marketing
  • Ability to hit the ground running on a new team, navigate complex situations and provide structure and clarity for the team
  • Ability to guide cross-functional teams towards decisions and execution
  • Comfort with working in an ambiguous and fast paced environment; builder mindset
  • Strong experience developing, implementing and iterating on robust processes within quickly evolving teams
  • Excellent program management skills, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated capacity for strategic, critical thinking and analysis. You can understand the big picture and the value of differing perspectives
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills especially with uncharted territory and new concepts
  • Ability to reconcile differing viewpoints and create a compelling story to influence decisions of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Asana

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B and advertising, sales enablement
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience at an agency, Consumer tech or B2B marketing experience
