About the position

The Program Manager for Talent and Organizational Development at Staples, Inc. is responsible for understanding and addressing the internal business needs related to talent solutions. This role involves implementing a variety of talent management activities, supporting leadership development, and aligning HR practices with business objectives to foster an inclusive and innovative culture. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of talent and organizational development services.

Responsibilities

  • Understand internal customer business needs and provide talent solutions.
  • Support the implementation of talent, leadership, diversity, engagement, and organizational development services.
  • Execute a talent plan that aligns with business strategy.
  • Build trusting relationships to drive HR solutions that meet business needs.
  • Deploy solutions across business units or geographies that are relevant and impactful.
  • Support key talent management activities such as Performance Management and Engagement.
  • Assist in the deployment of enterprise learning solutions to drive knowledge transfer.
  • Identify development opportunities for high potential talent.
  • Collaborate with HR/Business stakeholders to define project initiatives and deliverables.
  • Ensure accurate submission of priorities for all business functions each quarter.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in Leader Development and/or Organization Development.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing talent development programs.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in leading change management initiatives.
