About the position

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Task Order Project Manager to work for our company. The successful candidate will lead projects that involve the successful management of teams composed of data processing and other information management professionals who have been involved in analysis, design, integration, testing, documenting, converting, extending, and implementing automated information and/or telecommunications systems. The role includes performing day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations. The Task Order Project Manager will organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities, establishing and altering (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects involving management of teams in data processing and information management.
  • Perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations.

Requirements

  • Must have an eligible for a U.S. Government SECRET / IT-II Clearance.
  • Must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Must have 10+ years of leadership experience in IT and/or consulting fields.
  • Must have experience with the Information Technology Acquisition process.
  • Must have 5+ years of relevant program management experience.
  • Must have previous experience analyzing source documentation for acquisition.
  • Must have a B.S. or B.A. degree.
  • Must be willing to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
  • Must be willing to travel on-site to Washington, DC approximately 5%.

  • Experience with DODI 5000.75, DODI 5000.74, and DODI 5000.85 publications.
