The Program Manager at Arizona State University (ASU) will work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to plan, direct, organize, and execute project requirements. This role involves identifying and acquiring necessary resources and coordinating efforts by all parties to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes in accordance with the expectations of the sponsoring source. The position is part of the Family Violence Center, which is dedicated to eradicating family violence through research, public policy work, program evaluation, and education and training. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing a project team, developing project scope, strategy, budget, and outcomes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting and filings. This is a grant-funded position, and continuation is contingent on future grant funding. The Program Manager will plan, develop, implement, and manage a project team through complete task definitions and work requirement identification and assignments. They will establish and continually monitor project expectations with the team, assign tasks, and identify issues for resolution to ensure optimal team effectiveness. The role requires preparing and maintaining all project status reports and schedules, tracking milestones and deliverables, and resetting expectations as needed based on project progress. The Program Manager will also manage, coach, and supervise all project team members, both internal and contracted, to ensure optimal outcomes and build relationships vital to project success. In addition, the Program Manager will work collaboratively with stakeholders, leadership, and other related staff to define and identify all required project infrastructure, including space, equipment, technology, and other resources necessary for successful project operations. They will prepare all post-project reports, budget allocations, and summaries to ensure timely dissemination of information to all interested parties. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and eight years of related experience, including three years of project management experience in technical or scientific endeavors.
