About The Position

The Program Master Planner at Talascend LLC is responsible for supporting the Program Management Teams by managing and developing complex program schedules. This role requires a deep understanding of program life cycles and involves the creation of standard Integrated Master Schedules, resource loading, and conducting Earned Value Analysis. The position also entails regular analysis of program schedules to evaluate resource needs and ensure proper maintenance and updates by project teams.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Program Life cycles.

  • Proficiency in Earned Value Analysis.
  • Ability to develop tools and tracking/reporting methods for program planning.
  • Experience in creating standard Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating program schedules and resource needs.
  • Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).
  • Familiarity with Control Account Management (CAM) processes.
  • Knowledge of project management software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop complex program schedules including resource loading and Earned Value Analysis.
  • Develop tools and tracking/reporting methods for standardization and enterprise-wide resource management.
  • Support programs in developing plans and integrating inputs from all programs.
  • Interface with all elements of the program team for regular maintenance of the program.
  • Work with the Program Management Office to create standard Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Perform regular analysis of program schedules to evaluate program and enterprise-wide resource needs.
  • Develop integrated master schedules using SOW and WBS.
  • Assist in schedule audits to ensure proper maintenance and updates by project teams.
  • Analyze and review subcontractor schedules and link them to the project schedule.
  • Advise management of changes to the critical path and projected milestone achievement performance.
  • Coordinate with Control Account Managers (CAM) and cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) members.
  • Obtain and analyze data from affected organizations to prepare and disseminate project status reports.
  • Perform audits of schedules for performance to plan variance and support corrective actions.
  • Provide insights into program scheduling trends and best practices to assist program teams.
  • Perform Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) on key programs.
