About The Position

The Program Supervisor 2 is responsible for overseeing clinical activities and managing a team of clinical staff within a mental health program. This role includes supervisory duties such as hiring, training, and performance management, as well as ensuring compliance with program standards and policies. The supervisor will also engage in community outreach, maintain effective relationships with clients and families, and ensure quality service delivery through documentation and adherence to evidence-based practices.

Requirements

  • LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW preferred license issued by the State of California.
  • Minimum of two years post-licensure experience.
  • Training in Supervision Practices as specified by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Experience in family and child welfare, mental health, and child abuse prevention and treatment.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Working knowledge of community resources for client needs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid California Driver License and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Sensitivity to diverse cultures among clients and staff.
  • Basic understanding of age-appropriate behavior for children/adolescents.

Nice To Haves

  • Training in an Evidence Based Practice.
  • Experience supervising MA and MSW interns.
  • Computer skills sufficient to meet production demands, including Microsoft Office and WELLIGENT software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform supervisory duties including interviewing, hiring, and training clinical staff.
  • Manage performance, conduct performance appraisals, and take disciplinary measures as needed.
  • Implement clinical onboarding procedures for new staff.
  • Directly manage and supervise clinical activities, including case assignments and productivity tracking.
  • Review outcome measures with initial assessments and treatment planning goals to ensure fidelity to evidence-based practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of program standards and policies from various governing bodies.
  • Ensure billable staff maintain appropriate caseloads to meet client contact expectations.
  • Confirm quality service delivery through documentation and compliance with policies.
  • Conduct supervision meetings discussing supervisees' caseloads and providing constructive feedback.
  • Provide clinical group supervision in designated evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with community professionals and agencies to generate program referrals.
  • Maintain effective community outreach efforts to raise awareness of services offered by Five Acres.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with contracts and accreditation standards.
  • Assist in business development aligned with the Division Director and Leadership Team.
  • Track and distribute program data and manage annual budgets.
  • Attend and participate in department meetings and agency committees.
  • Screen clients for program participation and complete intake documents.
