About The Position

The Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing special education services within the Central Unified School District, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, particularly the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Requirements

• Valid California Administrative Credential
• Valid California Teaching Credential in Special Education, Speech and Language Pathologist or School Psychologist
• Resume
• Three (3) Letters of Recommendation dated within 18 months of application
• Valid California driver's license

Responsibilities

• Maintain special education due process requirements and legal regulations related to student services under Federal and State laws and IDEA.
• Coordinate placements of students in accordance with the IEP team process into and out of programs.
• Provide classroom supervision of Special Education personnel in conjunction with site administrators.
• Develop and implement in-service training programs appropriate to special education personnel, regular staff, and parents/caregivers.
