About The Position

The Program Supervisor at REM Community Services plays a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position involves overseeing a team of caregivers, implementing Individual Service Plans (ISP), and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services. The supervisor will engage in both administrative duties and direct support activities, fostering community involvement and enhancing the lives of those served.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year related work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority.
• Excellent communication skills to establish rapport with team members and those served.
• Strong organizational abilities to maintain staffing and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP).
• Participate in administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
• Provide support to individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
• Split duties between direct support, professional activities, and supervision.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation.
