The OPHAC Programmer Analyst IV (OPHAC PA IV) is a crucial member of the Faculty Practice Groups Office of Population Health and Accountable Care (OPHAC) team at UCLA Health. This role is designed to actively provide informatics solutions to identified opportunity areas that support UCLA Health's Population Health and Accountable Care goals. The incumbent will perform valuable analyses for the OPHAC team, aiding in the development, execution, and evaluation of various OPHAC initiatives. Under the guidance of OPHAC's Informatics manager, the OPHAC PA IV will implement and maintain OPHAC's data infrastructure, which is essential for conducting financial and clinical quality analyses and generating reports for various initiatives and programs. The OPHAC PA IV will engage in all activities related to the Solution/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes specification gathering, design, implementation, user acceptance testing, and production rollout. A key responsibility will be to automate manual processes where such automation can enhance efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, the OPHAC PA IV will conduct clinical quality and financial analyses as requested by the OPHAC team, providing concise summaries and recommendations to leadership when relevant. This position will also serve as the subject matter expert on all internal and external data assets utilized by OPHAC for financial and clinical quality analyses and reports, acting as the primary resource for insights on these data assets for other team members.
