About the position

Natoli Engineering is seeking a talented Drive Works Programmer with expertise in programming to join our dynamic team! This position is 100% on-site in St. Charles, MO. We are looking for a Drive Works Programmer with a strong programming background and experience in design automation to develop and implement Drive Works-based automation solutions for our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our engineering and design teams to create and maintain custom configurators, rules, and workflow automation using Drive Works software. Your expertise in design automation, programming, and web development will play a pivotal role in optimizing our product design and manufacturing processes. As a Drive Works Programmer, you will be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders, including engineers, designers, sales, manufacturing, and project managers, to understand requirements and translate them into Drive Works-based solutions. You will develop and maintain custom configurators, rules, and automation workflows using Drive Works software, configure and customize Drive Works modules and features to meet specific project needs, and create and manage Drive Works projects, including data input, form design, and document generation. Additionally, you will implement SQL queries to extract data from the configurator and integrate with our ERP system, utilizing the extracted data to generate customer drawings based on configurator choices for various product lines. You will leverage design automation capabilities within Drive Works to streamline and automate the product design process, create and maintain plugins and macros to extend the functionality of Drive Works, and design and implement APIs for seamless integration between Drive Works and other systems. Furthermore, you will utilize web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create web-based Drive Works configurators.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong programming background with experience in design automation.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
