MML is continuously expanding, managing, and owning hotels, such as the Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans, with new projects in Texas, Colorado, and California currently under development. MML owns and operates all its properties and only takes on projects that align with our vision and values. We are looking for a Programming and Production Manager with strong technical expertise, including programming knowledge, production processes, and relevant tools. The ideal candidate has excellent project management skills and strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively coordinate teams and drive projects forward. Additionally, they should possess strategic thinking to align production with business goals, ensure scalability, and manage risks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee working calendar of culture & event programming for all MML properties including all Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, and California locations.
  • Ensure proper prep, information, & fluid communication exists between all departments (Operations, Creative & Marketing, Accounting) for all programming.
  • Consistently attend all property programming to evaluate quality of guest experience.
  • Distribute monthly event performance recap documentation for effective programming financial & culture review.
  • Assist in curating, booking, contract negotiation, and show advancing of all live performances, DJ sets, and culture event programming at all MML properties.
  • Coordinate with creative & marketing team members to produce & advertise promotional content, branded materials, and ticketing systems.
  • Coordinate with MML hotel & restaurant management teams to implement effective event service structures and coordinate operational setups.
  • Assist in creating live music programming documentation to include production overview, branding concepts, budgetary details, event BEO’s.
  • Assist MML private events team in booking, advancing, and coordinating client-informed private event programming.
  • Oversee all artist coordination: hospitality & equipment, transportation & lodging, all day-of communication.
  • Oversee all culture & performance event production setups / breakdowns with good working knowledge of all property equipment / operational best practices.
  • Oversee all MML sound equipment purchases & rentals keeping a running log of equipment inventory at MML / individual properties.
  • Manage in-house & contracted sound, lighting, performance-specific engineers & trade.
  • Regularly oversee the audio / visual equipment at all MML properties to maintain proper working condition and resolve any needed repairs or adjustments.
  • Work closely with VP of Creative Operations to curate and update specific MML property playlists on a regularly organized schedule of deliveries including detailed concept / update overviews.
  • Coordinate with Gray V to develop, maintain, and implement music programs at relevant locations.
  • Liaison between property teams and Commonspace Technologies to maintain logs of current AV issues, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Attend all MML x Commonspace quarterly maintenance visits to ensure all maintenance line items are accomplished.
  • Review associated work orders and communicate with property teams to determine best next steps.
  • Project manage all ensuing AV work to get work completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Talent Booking.
  • Programming Experience: Talent pooling, calendar management, event advancing, contract negotiation, PA + backline management, sound engineer coordinator.
  • Good working knowledge of DJ, House Sound, + PA equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and good working knowledge of TripleSeat, OpenTable and Google Suite.
  • Food and beverage experience preferred.
