About the position
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Project Engineer to join our team. The role involves participating in an interior remodel of a school and subsequently overseeing the construction of a new school starting in April 2025. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Assistant Project Manager to manage typical responsibilities associated with project engineering.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning and scheduling
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project progress and report updates
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Prepare and review project documentation
- Support the Assistant Project Manager in daily tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar field, or 5+ years of construction field leadership experience
- Proficient with technology
- Comfortable on construction sites (internship or job experience of any type)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with all divisions/new builds
- Experience with K12 construction
- Construction management experience
- Multifamily construction experience is acceptable
