Project Manager Commercial Roofing

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute every stage of the project life cycle of roofing installations for commercial properties.
• Work with project estimators to review estimates and analyze the scope of each project along with determining what material is needed.
• Analyze project specifications from consulting/engineering firms.
• Review estimates in Google Sheets and ask questions to the project estimator as needed.
• Review aerial images of the roof to identify potential problems that may arise during the scope of the project.
• Plan projects in advance to ensure all aspects of the project are allocated and scheduled accordingly, including budgeting for material and labor, material ordering, scheduling and timelines, safety plan, and drafting contracts for subcontractors and vendors.
• Manage crews and subcontractors to ensure quality work is being implemented upon company/industry standards and that written specifications are being followed.
• Manage issues/problems that may arise during the project and verify that safety guidelines are being met upon OSHA and company compliance standards.
• Prepare and deliver various reports detailing the progress of each project to the company and customer.
• Communicate with staff, supervisors, and other parties about current projects, discussing budgets and current financial status of the project, plans, and goals.
• Negotiate contracts when unexpected changes occur along with renegotiating contracts with contractors and subcontractors.

Requirements

• 5+ Years of Work Experience in the Commercial Roofing industry
• Familiar with Details and Requirements related to the installation of PVC, TPO, Modified Bitumen, and Asphalt Shingles
• Bi-Lingual is a plus
