The Project Manager for the Data Governance Project will play a pivotal role in the Commonwealth's behavioral health strategic plan, specifically focusing on the Data Exchange Program. This initiative aims to establish a secure and efficient statewide data exchange for behavioral health data, which is critical for improving service delivery and outcomes. The selected candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive data governance framework, which includes creating policies and processes that will guide the management and utilization of data across various systems used by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). In this role, the Project Manager will coordinate extensively with DBHDS and partner stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the data governance framework and organizational structure. This includes developing and applying policies and procedures to the systems utilized by DBHDS, ensuring that all data governance decisions are effectively communicated and executed. The Project Manager will also oversee the integration of data sources into the new Enterprise Data Warehouse, particularly focusing on Electronic Health Record data from Community Service Boards (CSBs). Collaboration is key in this position, as the Project Manager will be part of the Data Exchange Team, which emphasizes alignment across various projects. The role requires strong communication skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executive-level personnel. Responsibilities will include facilitating meetings, documenting meeting minutes, and following up on action items from the Data Governance Council, the Data Decision Team, data stewards, data owners, and other subject matter experts. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data governance, data warehouse implementations, data exchange, data analytics, and Health IT projects, which are essential for the success of this initiative.
