About the position

The Project Manager in the Office of the College President plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating strategic initiatives that support the institution's mission and goals. This position involves working closely with senior leadership to ensure the effective execution of high-priority projects and events, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Completes a broad variety of tasks that facilitate the President's ability to effectively lead the organization, including assisting with special projects and preparing documents.
  • Serves as a back-up to the Executive Assistant to the President when needed.
  • Supports Board Committee work for Vice Presidents as required.
  • Provides budgetary support to the Chief of Staff, including developing and presenting recommendations and reports.
  • Assists with managing projects by tracking timelines, budgets, and coordinating resources.
  • Coordinates special events for the Office of the President, including logistics and communication with attendees.
  • Drafts and edits internal and external correspondence, memos, and reports.
  • Maintains discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Represents the College and the Office of the President positively and professionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting a senior executive or serving as a project manager.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office, including email and calendaring.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Nonprofit board experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a competitive salary range of $59K - $74.8K per year.
