About the position

The Project Planner / Agile Coach is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of ongoing projects within the Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (SUAS) product portfolio. This role involves serving as a liaison between project management and project teams, ensuring effective communication and project execution. The position emphasizes the adoption of agile methodologies and cultural change towards positivity and accountability, while also focusing on continuous improvement and process development in an ISO 9001 environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing projects.
• Serve as liaison between project management and project teams.
• Review status of projects and budgets.
• Manage schedules and prepare status reports including critical path analysis, risk assessment, and project performance metrics.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet project goals and objectives.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers.
• Drive adoption of and consistency in agile mindset, values, principles, and practices.
• Coach teams to increase maturity of agile methodology.
• Drive cultural change toward positivity and accountability.
• Teach agile principles and improve agile methodologies in practice.
• Embrace continuous improvement.
• Lead initiatives to improve process development and implementation in an ISO 9001 environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Jira, or equivalent.
• Experience with agile and scrum methodologies.

• Familiarity with Small Unmanned Air Systems and technologies used in security and defense environments.
• Experience using MS Project, BigPicture, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, or equivalent schedule planning tool.
