About the position

The Project Systems Integration Engineer Intern is primarily responsible for supporting the PSIE team in flashing of development parts, filling hardware coordination requests, and interfacing with customers and suppliers when needed. In this internship, your responsibilities will include interfacing between the project, customer, and suppliers, filling hardware coordination requests for multiple Bosch teams, local and international, re-flashing new software and updating hardware with the latest releases and fixes, working with OEM customers to support integration of Bosch software and hardware components into customer vehicles, providing onsite support to analyze and discuss project software issues, maintaining flashing schedules and handling weekly changes, and keeping and maintaining records for flashed development parts. Additionally, you will help to develop new tools and processes for the team to assist in flashing and tracking of parts.

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing between the project, customer, and suppliers.
  • Filling hardware coordination requests for multiple Bosch teams, local and international.
  • Re-flashing new software / updating hardware with latest releases and fixes.
  • Working with OEM customers to support integration of Bosch software and hardware components into customer vehicles.
  • Providing onsite support to analyze and discuss project software issues.
  • Maintaining flashing schedule and handling weekly changes.
  • Keeping and maintaining records for flashed development parts.
  • Helping to develop new tools and processes for the team to assist in flashing and tracking of parts.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering study program or related area of study.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least one semester completed.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic PC skills to track status; strong Microsoft Excel experience (PPT, Word, and MS Project also).
  • Ability to integrate into an international project team.
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum 25 hours a week.
