About The Position

The Property Manager II for Affordable Housing at Volunteers of America Colorado is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of properties, ensuring maintenance, staff supervision, and administrative duties are performed effectively. This role emphasizes relationship-building with residents and compliance with Fair Housing regulations while managing multiple properties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years property management experience
• Basic math aptitude

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines all staff.
• Maintains office files for all business and financial records.
• Properly credits accounts and deposits all monies received.
• Forecasts future expenditures to prepare budgets and stays within budget constraints.
• Supervises the property office ensuring all bookkeeping, marketing, and lease preparations are performed according to program requirements and policies.
• Codes invoices to the appropriate G/L line item.
• Collaborates with Service Coordinators to enhance resident quality of life.
• Markets the property in accordance with Fair Housing regulations and management agents' guidelines.
• Inspects property to ensure building and grounds are properly maintained.
• Takes or suggests actions needed for repairs.
• Submits reports as required by management agents, owners, or mandated by government authorities.
• Responds to all resident requests and complaints.
• Responsible for several assigned properties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
