About the position

The Property Manager for Multifamily at Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for overseeing the operations of residential communities, ensuring they meet market-ready standards while providing exceptional service to residents. This role involves managing a high-performing team, driving revenue through effective marketing strategies, and maintaining the community's budget and finances.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
  • Providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, and profitability.
  • Completing lease/renewal paperwork to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Tracking and evaluating advertising and client traffic.
  • Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a cohesive team to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
  • Driving revenues through analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.
  • Leading by example and modeling Cushman & Wakefield's mission.
  • Supervising day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
  • Maintaining residents' files in accordance with company standards.
  • Resolving conflicts and maintaining a positive living environment for residents.
  • Managing and maintaining all aspects of the community budget and finances.
  • Working with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Real Estate License preferred.
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience.
  • 3+ years of Management experience.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
  • General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills.
